How To Nominate

Awards Criteria - Please Read Before Nominations

YOU CAN NOMINATE YOURSELF TOO !

Who can take part?

Anyone who creates videos regarding Fiji or videos made by someone with links to Fiji.
The recipient of the award must be located in New Zealand at the time of the show. Verification will be necessary.
Anyone not present at the show will not be considered.

What videos will be considered?

Any TikTok content uploaded from midnight 1st of January 2024 to midnight 31st December 2024.

How will you be judged?

Judging will be done by reviewing the number of views and likes on the nominated TikTok video.
The organizers will set a specific date and time for judging.
The results will be confidential.

How to nominate someone?

Let the organizers know which TikTok you would like to nominate and the category from the list.
Only written nominations will be accepted, either via social media or email.
Videos will only be evaluated after nomination.
Once nominated, a written consent from the content creator is required.
If the creator declines, the nominator will be notified.
The nominated TikTok should match the chosen category.

Adjudicators will evaluate if:

The content aligns with the designated category.
The video content pertains to Fiji.

Adjudicators’ decisions are final and binding.

TikTok Community Standards will apply.
Any individual deemed inappropriate by the organizing committee is ineligible for nomination.
The nominator will be informed if their submission is disqualified.
Videos with offensive language or material that does not meet community standards will not be considered.

How many categories can you be nominated in?

You can be nominated in up to 5 categories.

Organizer Rights

The organizers reserve the right to modify, add, or remove criteria and categories as needed.
The organizers have the authority to disqualify any nominee if community standards are violated or if their actions bring the event into disrepute.

1. Best Dance Bollywood Song
- For the most captivating dance performance to a Bollywood track.
2. Best Dance Fijian Song
- Recognizing outstanding dance choreography to a Fijian song.
3. Best Battler
- For creators who excel in TikTok battles with engaging and entertaining duels.
4. TikToker of the Year
- Awarded to the most influential and inspiring TikTok creator of the year.
- This has to be a all rounder, creates content, has more than 10k followers, does live, follows Tiktok community standards etc.
5. Best Original Comedy Video
- For the funniest and most original comedy content that made audiences laugh.
6. Best Educational Content
- Highlighting creators who deliver valuable educational or informative videos.
7. Best Couple TikTok
- For the most entertaining or heartwarming videos created by a couple.
8. Best Business Promotion
- Recognizing innovative and effective use of TikTok for business promotion.
9. Most Viral Original Video
- For a unique and original video that achieved massive engagement and shares.
10. Best Original Content
- For consistently creating fresh, engaging, and original TikTok content.
11. Best Dancer Overall
- Awarded to the most talented and versatile TikTok dancer.
12. Best Singer Overall
- Recognizing exceptional vocal talent showcased on TikTok.
13. Community Award
- For creators who make a significant positive impact on their community.
14. Best Live TikToker
- Highlighting creators who excel in live streams, keeping their audiences engaged.
15. TikTok Skit of the Year
- Recognizing the most creative and entertaining skit produced on TikTok.
16. TikTok Model of the Year
- For creators who showcase outstanding modeling and style content.
17. Highest Number of Followers
- Awarded to the creator with the largest TikTok follower count.
18. Best Cooking Show
- For creators whose cooking videos captivated food lovers worldwide.
19. Best Current Affairs TikTok
- Recognizing creators who effectively communicate news and current affairs.
20. Best Fishing Video
- Celebrating creators who showcase amazing fishing adventures and techniques.
21. Best Wedding Video
- For creators who capture the beauty, emotions, and joy of weddings.
22. Best Videos with Kids
- Highlighting creators who feature kids in heartwarming or hilarious ways.
23. Best Videos with Kava
- Recognizing creators who celebrate kava culture through storytelling or rituals.
24. Best Use of Effects
- For creative use of TikTok’s filters, effects, and transitions in videos.

- Awarded for flawless and entertaining lip-syncing videos.

- For showcasing exciting destinations and travel experiences.

- Recognizing motivational videos that inspire audiences worldwide.

- For creators promoting health and fitness through engaging videos.

Honoring a TikTok creator who passed away but left a lasting legacy through their impactful and memorable content.
